About My Clients

My ideal clients are teens, adults, and couples who feel stuck in patterns they don’t fully understand but are ready to look at more closely. I work well with depression, trauma, PTSD, OCD, and the effects of growing up in complex families or cultures. Many clients are thoughtful, overwhelmed, and tired of overthinking. Therapy with me is a space to slow down, make sense of what’s happening, and begin responding differently in ways that feel realistic and sustainable.

My Background and Approach

In our work together, I’ll help you build a small set of tools you can actually use when things feel overwhelming—not just in session, but in daily life. My approach is active and collaborative. We’ll focus first on what’s showing up right now in your thoughts, body, and relationships, and work toward creating relief you can feel. My training in trauma, OCD, and mood-related concerns helps me break down complex patterns into understandable pieces, so you’re not just coping, but understanding what’s happening and how to respond differently over time.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe people change when they feel understood rather than judged. Many struggles we bring to therapy—anxiety, depression, trauma responses, relationship conflict—developed as ways of coping or surviving what we didn’t have control over at the time. Therapy, for me, is about understanding those patterns and deciding what you’re ready to do differently. My path into this work is both personal and professional. I’ve lived with PTSD and intergenerational trauma, and I know what it’s like to function on the outside while feeling stuck or overwhelmed inside. My own therapy taught me how awareness and small, steady changes can shift long-held patterns over time. I’m especially interested in working with teens, adults, and couples dealing with trauma, OCD, depression, and complex family or cultural dynamics. I value therapy that makes space for identity, lived experience, and honest conversation, so things feel clearer, lighter, and more workable in everyday life.
