About My Clients

My clients are often carrying the weight of trauma, anxiety, or grief. They’re seeking relief from painful patterns and want to understand how the past affects their present. My clients are looking for a more structured approach to therapy. I use EMDR Therapy within a trauma-informed approach to help people find freedom from the past, peace in the present, and hope for the future. Together, we create space for healing, growth, and meaningful change.

My Background and Approach

I became a therapist because of my own experience with a counselor when I was younger. I worked with a man who helped me during a very difficult time. Out of the gratitude I had for how he helped me, I wanted to do the same for others. When I first started working in the mental health field, I realized trauma was a major factor in the mental health difficulties many faced. I became very passionate about helping people resolve the way traumatic experiences were still affecting them. My approach is warm and collaborative, while also structured and focused. While there’s space to process general life challenges, I primarily use EMDR Therapy to guide our work in a targeted way. This helps keep therapy focused on healing the root causes of current struggles, not just managing symptoms. I believe therapy should offer both support and a clear path forward toward meaningful, lasting change.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe everyone deserves access to compassionate, non-judgmental, and effective mental health care. I value authenticity, curiosity, and lifelong learning — both for myself and the people I work with. My approach to therapy is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, seen, and understood. I am a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and am committed to upholding the highest standards of trauma-informed care. I’m dedicated to creating an inclusive space where people of all backgrounds, identities, and experiences feel welcome and respected. My commitment to ongoing training and consultation reflects my belief that therapists should never stop learning how to better serve those who trust us with their care.
