About My Clients
In my work, I take the journey with clients, walking with them during times of difficulty and discomfort until they're able to discover more peace and stability within. Whether I am working with children, adolescents, or adults, I create a safe space for clients to grow, discover their own inner strengths, and foster deep healing.
My Background and Approach
I have specific training in trauma, mindfulness, and play therapy. I have experience working with specific traumatic events such as: grief, divorce, abuse, family life events and exposure to substance use and domestic violence. Children teach me about their world through play, words, and feelings. I honor each child's unique way of connecting to and experiencing their environments. I work with adolescents and adults helping them access more balance, understanding, and connection often by using creativity and mindfulness techniques.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that each person is capable of deep healing. Sometimes life can be hard and we need support through that journey. I am competent in systemic issues involving race, LGBTQ+ issues, and judgment of size. I practice anti-racism and am an advocate for Health at Every Size. I aim to provide a safe place for all identities and expressions.
