About My Clients
You may be used to carrying a lot and still finding a way to function. Maybe you overthink, overextend yourself, stay in “survival mode,” or feel responsible for keeping everything together without fully understanding why. I especially enjoy helping clients put language to patterns they’ve carried for years and recognize how anxiety, trauma, or past experiences may be shaping how they respond today. There is also space for my clients to integrate their faith into their healing process.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is warm, practical, and collaborative. I’m especially interested in helping you understand the “why” beneath your patterns—not simply giving you coping skills without exploring what shaped them. We may look at anxious thought patterns, trauma-based responses, relationships, emotional regulation, boundaries, and the ways you’ve learned to protect yourself or keep functioning. I integrate CBT, DBT-informed skills, mindfulness, strengths-based, relational, and trauma-informed approaches based on your needs. I also bring 7 years of experience providing individual therapy across outpatient, school-based, behavioral health, and crisis settings. For clients who desire it, Christian faith, Scripture, prayer, and spiritual reflection can be thoughtfully integrated into our work.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy should be a place where you can be honest about what you’re carrying without feeling judged, rushed, or reduced to a diagnosis. I value authenticity, compassion, accountability, and self revelation. My Christian faith shapes how I understand hope, purpose, grace, and restoration. When faith is important to you, I welcome bringing it into therapy in a way that feels natural and meaningful to you. Faith integration is always collaborative and guided by your preferences.
