About My Clients
Are you struggling to understand why you are flooded with emotions such as fear, anger and despair? Maybe you are trying to make sense of the emotional and physical pain and do not know where to start. A terrible thing happened to you and now you are experiencing reactions you don't understand. These reactions are negatively impacting your daily living, personal relationships, friendships, school, work, and parenting.
My Background and Approach
You may feel scared because it's a lonely place. However, you are not alone. I can hold a safe space for you, support you as you explore uncomfortable emotions and help transform those emotional wounds into your strength. We will work collaboratively to address those reactions or coping skills that are not working for you. We will work on the unresolved emotional pain. My expertise is in working with children and adults suffering from anxiety, depression, trauma, behavior issues, ADHD & parenting. I am trained in EMDR and Brainspotting, I draw from CBT, trauma informed and attachment-based models.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It takes tremendous courage to confront the roots of your hurt. I believe that the coping strategies you have learned have helped you survive the terrible experiences you have been through. I will help you understand how those coping skills developed and how we can implement new ones so that you can understand yourself and live a healthier life.
