My Background and Approach
Drawing from the Psychodynamic Approach, we can begin to focus on unearthing the unconscious beliefs that cause present day anxiety, depression, and feelings of uneasiness. We can explore how childhood relationships shape the beliefs you have about yourself, and those around you, while using emotional and somatic awareness as a guide in evaluating these imprinted beliefs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe growth can occur in any season of life and that therapy is an act of self love. Bravery, compassion, and patience are ways we can begin healing the wounds that have been created overtime. Healing is a lifetime commitment that does not require perfection, but the vulnerability to embrace the imperfections that make us human. My belief as a therapist is to be a safe landing space so you can find clarity during your loving exploration of the unconscious.
