About My Clients
I work best with midlife women and couples who feel stretched thin by caregiving, parenting, grief, or relationship strain. Many of my clients are navigating betrayal, loss, shifting identities, or long-standing patterns of people-pleasing and disconnection. They’re capable and caring, yet overwhelmed, and want to feel more grounded, heard, and aligned in their relationships while moving forward with clarity and intention.
My Background and Approach
I am a pre-licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Candidate (MFTC) specializing in couples therapy, relationship repair, midlife women’s issues, grief counseling, and caregiving stress. I’m trained in Gottman Levels 1 & 2 and Bringing Baby Home, Relational Life Therapy (Level 1), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), Parts Work - Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Advanced Grief Counseling. This integrative approach helps clients understand relational patterns, repair trust, and communicate with clarity and care. As a married parent of two navigating midlife and perimenopause, I deeply understand the tension between honoring yourself and staying connected to others. My clients learn to communicate congruently, reclaim identity, accept older parts of themselves, and step into a more grounded, authentic version of who they are—while experiencing the security of an interconnected relationship.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people already hold the capacity to heal from past wounds, even when that feels hard to access. Healing happens through understanding our relationships with ourselves and with others, and through telling the truth about our lived experience. My role as a therapist is to create a collaborative, trusting space where vulnerability feels safe and growth feels possible. I don’t dictate your path, I walk alongside you as a knowledgeable, compassionate guide as we explore what healing and change look like for you. I am an affirming ally of the LGBTQIA2S+ community and welcome all identities, relationship structures, and family configurations. I practice from a secular perspective and personally identify as agnostic, while fully respecting and welcoming clients of all faith and spiritual backgrounds. My work is grounded in respect, curiosity, and the belief that therapy should honor both your autonomy and your humanity.
