For most people, meaningful relationships, or lack thereof, cause a significant amount of our stress. Navigating our feelings, boundaries, traumas and struggles in any and all of our relationships is an integral part of therapy.
We lose things all the time. People, places, jobs, pets, cherished items; all of which can impact us in serious ways. When the loss is not healing, when it feels like we are getting worse, not better, that is a time to look to counseling. In therapy we unravel the complex attachments we form to the things that matter most and how to heal when we feel lost and empty.
Alcohol is everywhere and most of have used it at some point. Some of us will never have a problem. Some of us will have a problem and struggle to see it at face value. Some of us know exactly what our problem is, but have had a hard time making any real progress to cutting back.
