My Background and Approach
My approach is rooted in mindfulness and collaboration. I use Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to help clients increase self-awareness and develop tools for managing thoughts and emotions. Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) informs my work by encouraging clients to clarify their values and move toward a fulfilling life, even in the presence of challenges. I also prioritize a person-centered approach, ensuring therapy is tailored to your unique needs and experiences. As a culturally sensitive and trauma-informed therapist, I create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can feel understood and empowered.
