About My Clients
Parenting doesn't come with a roadmap, and every child experiences the world differently. I work with children, teens, and their families who are navigating anxiety, ADHD, emotional regulation, behavioral challenges, trauma, life transitions, and relationship difficulties. Many of the families I support feel overwhelmed, exhausted, or unsure of how to help their child. Together, we'll build understanding, strengthen connection, and develop practical tools that help your child thrive.
My Background and Approach
As a child therapist, I believe meaningful change begins with understanding rather than judgment. My work is rooted in the belief that behavior is communication, and I strive to see the world through the eyes of the child. By slowing down to understand a child's unique experiences, emotions, and strengths, we can create lasting growth that extends beyond symptom management. My approach is warm, collaborative, and developmentally appropriate, integrating play, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), trauma-informed care, attachment-based interventions, and parent collaboration. Therapy isn't just about helping children navigate difficult emotions—it's also about equipping parents and caregivers with the insight and tools needed to support progress outside of sessions. My goal is to help children feel safe, understood, and empowered while strengthening the relationships that matter most in their lives.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe every child deserves to be seen for who they are—not simply for the challenges they're experiencing. Children do well when they can, and when they're struggling, it's an opportunity for us to become curious about what they're trying to communicate. I value authenticity, compassion, and creating spaces where children and families feel accepted, respected, and supported. I'm committed to providing affirming, culturally responsive care and believe that healing happens through strong relationships, collaboration, and a willingness to meet people exactly where they are.
