About My Clients
I work with adults, teens, and people in relationships navigating trauma, identity, neurodivergence, substance use recovery, and a spectrum of mental health experiences. My clients seek a space where all parts of themselves are welcome — including the messy, complex, tough, and tender. Together, we build connection, clarity, and tools for resilience, honoring each person’s lived experience, cultural context, and unique path toward healing.
My Background and Approach
I’m a white, queer, neurodivergent therapist who approaches healing as both a personal and collective process. I draw from somatic, psychodynamic, mindfulness-based, and parts work approaches, integrating creativity and intuition to meet your unique needs. I have extensive experience working with cis men and masc-identifying clients, creating space to explore identity, emotional expression, relationships, and the impact of cultural expectations. My background includes work in residential, outpatient, and community mental health with adults, teens, families, veterans, and LGBTQIA+ clients. My work is rooted in trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and anti-oppressive care, honoring the impact of systemic and generational harm alongside individual experiences. I value collaboration, mutual accountability, and honoring your pace. Together, we’ll explore what’s been holding you back, cultivate tools for resilience, and nurture the growth, connection, and liberation you’re seeking.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I don’t believe in ‘blank slate’ therapy — I show up as a real person, bringing warmth, curiosity, my humanity, identity, and self-awareness into the room. I believe therapy is a collaborative space for healing, growth, and self-discovery, where you can explore all parts of yourself without judgment. My work recognizes that personal challenges exist within larger systems, and healing means tending both the inner and outer landscapes of our lives. I center your lived experience, cultural context, and strengths, while making space for curiosity, humor, and self-compassion. I trust that transformation is possible for everyone, and that the therapeutic relationship can be a powerful container for change. I see therapy as a place to reclaim your story, reconnect with your body, and explore new ways of being. Connection — to self, others, and the world — is both a human need and a source of resilience.
