About My Clients
I specialize in working with children, adolescents, and young adults ages 5 to 30 who are experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges. My clients often seek support for issues such as anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, or difficulties managing life transitions. I strive to create a supportive, therapeutic relationship where patients and families feel heard, understood, and empowered in their care.
My Background and Approach
I am a Board Certified Psychiatrist trained in both Adult and Child & Adolescent Psychiatry. I earned my medical degree from William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Mississippi, completed my adult psychiatry training at Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans, and returned to Texas to complete a Child & Adolescent Psychiatry fellowship at UT Southwestern in Dallas. My background includes strong clinical experience across inpatient, outpatient, and partial hospitalization/IOP settings for children and adolescents. I am confident in both medication management and therapy, particularly Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). I take a holistic approach to care, believing that a strong therapeutic partnership between patient and provider is essential for meaningful progress and long-term well-being.
