You might be a teen or young adult feeling pressured, or an adult feeling burned out or adjusting to change or loss — but the feeling is often the same: overwhelmed and alone with it. In-person therapy offers space to be heard, understood, and supported at your own pace. I work with teens, adults, and older adults to build insight, coping skills, and sustainable strategies for emotional wellness.
My Background and Approach
I bring a practical, down-to-earth approach shaped by working with teens, adults, and families in both private practice and nonprofit settings. I value you as an individual and try to tailor therapy to what’s most helpful for you — whether that means slowing things down, building coping tools, or making sense of when we feel stuck. My training includes Gottman Method for couples, as well as experience supporting middle and high school students and their families. I focus on creating a supportive, collaborative space where you feel encouraged, understood, and capable of growth at your own pace.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe meaningful change happens when people feel supported rather than judged. Growth comes from encouragement, understanding, and space to explore your own motivations. My approach is collaborative (we work together), grounded (in evidence-based practice), and tailored to each client’s needs. Having spent many years in rural communities, I understand the challenges of accessing services and the nuances of living, working, and growing up in a less-populated area. I am committed to providing in-person therapy that is accessible, respectful, and practical for clients of all ages.
