About My Clients
My clients are often insightful, capable people who feel stuck in patterns of self-doubt, anxiety, or relationship stress. Many are healing from trauma or learning to set boundaries after years of putting others first. You may look like you have it all together but feel depleted inside. I offer a space to slow down, reconnect with your needs, and begin creating a life that feels calm, authentic, and aligned with who you truly are.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults navigating anxiety, relationship stress, and trauma recovery. My approach is collaborative and authentic, blending evidence-based modalities like DBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and mindfulness-based strategies. I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine conversation — one where you can explore your experiences without judgment and feel both supported and challenged to grow. My background includes years of work in community and hospital settings, helping individuals manage complex emotional and relational challenges while building resilience and self-trust. In private practice, I create space for clients to reconnect with their values, strengthen boundaries, and rediscover a sense of calm and confidence in their daily lives. Together, we’ll focus on practical tools and deeper insight to help you move toward lasting emotional well-being.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy is a space for healing, growth, and remembering who you are beneath the layers of expectation, trauma, and self-criticism. My approach is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience. I view emotional pain as a signal for unmet needs, not weakness, and I see resilience as something that can be nurtured in safe, trusting relationships. Inclusivity is central to my work. I affirm all identities and strive to create a space that welcomes people of every race, gender identity, sexual orientation, and background. I draw from trauma-informed, feminist, and anti-oppressive frameworks that recognize how systems and personal history shape well-being. My goal is to help you feel both supported and empowered—to find balance, self-trust, and connection in a world that often asks you to disconnect from yourself.
