Are you struggling with a new transition? Maybe you're a new mom, or a mom going back to work and finding it hard to meet the demands of motherhood and life. Or, you're a college student beginning college or just graduating and feeling overwhelmed, stressed and anxious. Whatever the transition may be, I can help you manage these overwhelming emotions and have the experience and tools to get to you to where you want to be in life.
My Background and Approach
I know that going to therapy can be vulnerable and finding a therapist you can trust is hard. I offer a warm, non-judgmental and compassionate space so you can you feel comfortable and begin to heal. I work with adults facing numerous challenges; including anxiety, depression and life transitions. Whether you are struggling with excessive worrying that keeps you up at night, stress over a life transition, or struggling with sadness that just won't go away no matter what you do; I am here to help. My approach is warm and genuine. I use a variety of modalities, as I know that therapy is not "one size fits all." I aim to provide a space where you can be your true self; where you can share your struggles, experience empathy and also be challenged.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe in the the power of therapy and the importance of personal growth. I have experienced first hand how powerful therapy can be, and I hope to to help you have a similar experience. I also believe that everyone deserves to have access to therapy and do my best to provide accessible services. Additionally, I believe in the importance of healthy families and work hard to provide services that empower families/parents to break detrimental family cycles.
