About My Clients
I support individuals facing grief and loss, domestic violence, PTSD, life transitions, parenting challenges, anxiety, and depression. I meet each client exactly where they are, creating a space of understanding, safety, and acceptance. I approach therapy through trauma-informed, multicultural, relational, and exploratory lenses, tailoring interventions to each client’s unique needs. My practice is open to all people.
My Background and Approach
My counseling approach begins with building a strong, trusting relationship. I do not see clients as problems to be solved but as individuals to be understood. I approach their challenges and lived experiences with curiosity, compassion, and respect. I tailor interventions to their needs while guiding them toward self-awareness, healing, and resilience. Together, we’ll identify goals, build healthy coping skills, process trauma, and reduce suffering. I view therapy through trauma-informed, multicultural, relational, and exploratory lenses, providing space to be seen, heard, and validated. Drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Mindfulness, Somatic Therapy, and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), I help clients heal and thrive.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe our greatest setbacks can become openings for transformation. Even in the face of devastation, we can rise. When we share our stories, we connect, heal, and realize—we are never alone on this journey. I feel rejuvenated by nature, creative through cooking, adventurous in travel, and joyful with family and friends. My heart belongs to my husband and children and of course our cat and dog.
