About My Clients
I work with individuals ages 14+ who are ready to make changes in their lives and step out of their comfort zone. This work is not always easy, but is rewarding and empowering! My clients are invested in making their life more authentic and aligned with their values. They are willing to try new approaches discussed in therapy and open to feedback.
My Background and Approach
I'm a trained Art Therapist and a licensed clinical mental health counselor who is here to help those that want to heal. I have been working in the field since 2011 in hospitals, doctor's offices, day treatment programs, and community mental health. I meet clients where they are at and we can utilize art therapy, more traditional talk therapy, or something in between. I use a person-centered, goal focused approach to support you. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am a bright and eclectic person, professionally and personally. I'm a strong advocate for women of all walks of life. I'm an ally for LGBTQIA folks, sex positive and a believer of health at every size! I believe change is possible and believe in giving back when possible. I volunteer with abused and neglected horses in my free time. You can usually find me with my dog, Maverick.
