About My Clients
Are you having frequent feelings of self-doubt, hopelessness, or not feeling like your normal self? Do you feel like your anxiety has taken over your life and that you are powerless to control it? Therapy can help to uncover how those feelings first developed, and to help you learn strategies to cope and heal in such a way that you are able to regain control in your life.
My Background and Approach
I utilize numerous modalities that include cognitive behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and motivational interviewing. With that said, I believe that the client is most in charge of what we are here to work on. I feel that therapy is most successful and productive when the goals are driven by the client. My role is to keep sessions focused and provide clinical expertise. Trusting, empathetic, nonjudgmental. I believe that these characteristics are critical in establishing a working and healthy relationship. It takes a great deal of courage and insight to seek treatment, and my primary goal is to create an environment that is a safe space that allows clients to be their most authentic selves.
