About My Clients
You've spent years appearing strong while quietly carrying pain. Beneath control lives a longing for calm and connection. I don't see pathology; I see adaptations that once kept you safe. I help clients process trauma and chronic stress through Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment-Based Therapy which supports regulation, resilience, and the rebuilding of safety, self-trust, and connection.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with advanced training in Somatic Experiencing, Internal Family Systems, and Attachment-Based Therapy. Over the years, I've helped clients work towards processing their trauma, anxiety, and chronic stress by understanding how the body and mind hold past pain. My approach integrates evidence-based methods with deep compassion, supporting nervous system regulation, emotional resilience, and a return to self-trust. Each session is designed to meet you where you are and guide you toward lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe healing begins with understanding, not judgment. Our pain is not a personal failing but a reflection of what we had to adapt to in order to survive. As a Moroccan-American, Muslim therapist, I carry a deep respect for the complexity of identity, belonging, and generational resilience. My work is rooted in compassion, curiosity, and social justice whereby seeing every symptoms as a story waiting to be heard. I value authenticity and presence, and I'm committed to helping others reclaim the parts of themselves they once had to leave behind. I create a safe, inclusive, judgement free space to anyone ready to begin the honest work of meeting themselves with compassion and finding the safety that's been missing all along.
