My Background and Approach
I'm a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) with nine years of nursing experience. I specialize in medication management for behavioral health, initial psychiatric and physical evaluations, patient-centered care coordination, collaborative care with therapists, culturally sensitive treatment approaches, crisis intervention and support, nursing care plan development, and holistic patient care strategies. I have experience evaluating patients, managing medications, and treating both adults and children with behavioral health disorders. My background includes working as a Night Supervisor and psychiatric nurse, giving me a strong foundation in hands-on care and developing nursing care plans. I hold a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Nursing and am licensed and certified in North Carolina. I currently practice at Pinnacle Behavioral Health and Wellness.
