About My Clients
My clients often look like they have it together on the outside — but internally they're exhausted, stuck, or carrying something heavy. Many are navigating trauma, identity questions, anxiety, or relationship patterns they can't seem to break. I especially love working with LGBTQ+ individuals who've struggled to find a therapist who truly gets it. If you're ready to go deeper than just talking about your week, you're my kind of client.
My Background and Approach
I'm a queer-identified LMFT and founder of Eclectic Minds Therapy. Before becoming a therapist I worked in theatrical lighting design — which sounds random, but it taught me to think creatively and outside the box, which shapes everything about how I practice. I specialize in EMDR, trauma recovery, and LGBTQ+-affirming care. Using EMDR, DBT, CBT, and attachment-based approaches, I help clients process what's kept them stuck and build a life that actually feels aligned with who they are. I work at your pace, and I take the nervous system seriously. Telehealth only, serving all of California. Sliding scale available.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe therapy works best when the therapist shows up as a real human — not just a blank screen with good listening skills. I'm queer-identified, deeply committed to social justice, and passionate about making mental health care accessible to people who've historically been underserved. Outside of work I'm a runner currently training for a marathon, a devoted cat and dog mom to Kona, Charlie, Jamison and Violet, and someone who genuinely loves live theatre and concerts. I bring a lot of warmth, some goofiness, and zero judgment to every session.
