People with personality disorders experience long-standing patterns of behaviors, thoughts, and feelings that cause distress or impairment in various areas of functioning, such as relationships, work, or social interactions. These patterns are typically inflexible and pervasive, persisting across different situations and contexts.

Dissociative disorders disruptions or discontinuities in memory, awareness, identity, or perception that can significantly impair functioning and cause distress. These disruptions often involve a sense of detachment from oneself, one’s surroundings, or one’s memories. Many people describe it as “spacing out”, losing time, or feeling like nothing is real.

EMDR is an evidenced based intervention that helps those who experienced trauma and have related symptoms. This interventions helps these people reprocess the information in a more helpful way. EDMR works for PTSD, depression, anxiety, OCD, eating disorders and phobias.
