About My Clients
On the outside people see you as well put together, but inside you feel like you are barely holding it together. Whether you're a teen or an adult, juggling life with symptoms of anxiety, social anxiety, trauma, or grief, life feels harder than it should. And if you're in a relationship, you may feel disconnected from your loved one, dealing with infidelity or contemplating divorce. Whatever brings you to seek counseling, Iet's talk to see if we would be a good fit in working together.
My Background and Approach
My training includes a rare credential stack of training unique to my therapy. As a therapist I wanted to bring true healing which inspired me to obtain deep training in the specific areas my clients are hurting in such as: Positive Psychology, Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Brain Spotting, & Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), along with specialized certificates & certifications in the Gottman Method for couples, & grief education through David Kessler. Currently, I’m training under Dr. Ramani Durvasula to better serve my clients who are healing from narcissistic trauma. I use an approach I call the RESET Method to help clients feel more grounded & move toward real change—without feeling overwhelmed by the process. R – Regulate overwhelming emotions E – Explore what's beneath the emotion S – Shift patterns that keep you stuck E – Empower healthier coping T – Take back control of your life & relationships
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that when we begin to understand and appreciate the complexity of our life experiences, something shifts. We soften toward ourselves. We develop compassion instead of criticism. And from that place, meaning and connection become possible—both within ourselves and with others. My own life has shaped this belief deeply. Early health challenges, perinatal loss, the loss of my mother, losing other family members and friends, and navigating the realities of marriage and parenting have all been part of my story. Alongside the grief and challenges, there has also been deep joy, love, laughter, and growth. Like most people, my life hasn’t followed a straight line—but it has consistently been a search for meaning. I believe we are all here to share our stories and learn from one another. Understanding the stories we tell ourselves—& finding meaning within them—has given me clarity, direction, and a stronger sense of who I am as a woman, mother, wife, friend, dog breeder, and therapist
