About My Clients
Do you feel overwhelmed by grief, trauma, or life's challenges? Maybe you're exhausted from trying to hold it all together, stuck in survival mode, or wondering why you can't seem to move forward. You may feel disconnected from yourself or weighed down by emotions that come out of nowhere. Together, we'll create a space to process what you're carrying, reconnect with yourself, and build resilience through talk therapy, EMDR, and body-based approaches at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
I have over 13 years of experience helping adults navigate grief, trauma, life transitions, and emotional overwhelm. My work is grounded in the belief that healing happens when we feel safe, supported, and empowered to move at a pace that feels right for us. My approach is warm, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I integrate traditional talk therapy with EMDR and body-based approaches, including Trauma Center Trauma-Sensitive Yoga (TCTSY), recognizing that our experiences are held not only in our minds but also in our bodies. Together, we'll explore what has brought you to therapy, build on your existing strengths, and develop practical tools to help you feel more grounded and connected. I strive to create a space where you can show up exactly as you are—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out. My goal is to help you build resilience, deepen self-understanding, and move toward a life that feels more authentic, meaningful, and manageable.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that healing is possible, even when life feels overwhelming or circumstances cannot be changed. Some experiences, especially grief and trauma, leave lasting impacts on us. My goal isn't to help you forget what you've been through, but to help you find ways to carry it that feel less heavy and more manageable. I believe that every person has inherent strengths, wisdom, and resilience, even when they feel disconnected from them. Through both my professional work and my own experiences with loss and hardship, I have learned that healing is rarely linear. It often involves learning to listen to ourselves with greater compassion, reconnecting with our bodies, and creating space for difficult emotions rather than fighting against them. I strive to create a safe, inclusive, and judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are. I believe healing happens when we feel supported, empowered, and connected to ourselves.
