About My Clients
My ideal clients are ready to do the brave and beautiful work of challenging their internal narratives to create the life they want. They are brave, smart women who are great at providing others with care and validation while struggling to give that to themselves. They struggle with perfectionism, people-pleasing, anxiety, trauma, and/or body acceptance.
My Background and Approach
You don’t have to walk through this alone. I imagine something in your life is bringing you pain. I want you to know that you don’t have to walk through this on your own. I value the bravery and vulnerability that it takes to reach out for support, to challenge yourself to look at old wounds and patterns, and to share life’s messy bits. I believe that you are doing the best you can with the skills you have. You may have learned certain patterns and behaviors as a way of keeping yourself safe and making it through your world. Together we can work to honor the parts of you that protected you while creating new patterns that will serve you in creating a life in line with your current values. I am so honored to help you change the relationship that you have with your emotions, yourself, and the world around you.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Hello! I’m Dr. Adrianna Holness and I’m a licensed clinical psychologist and Founder of Worth and Wellness Psychology. For the past decade, I’ve had the honor of sitting with clients as they navigate difficult life transitions. I consider it a privilege to hold space for you in your journey towards healing. I am a culturally centered, anti-racist therapist and I am dedicated to providing a safe space for you. I practice from an intersectional feminist lens - which means that I get curious about how the different aspects of your beautiful identity (e.g., race, ethnicity, age, disability, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion, size, etc…) show up in your experiences as a woman. No one person is the same and I will prioritize learning about who you truly are - especially in the spaces where you may have experienced oppression and/or invisibility.
