About My Clients
Currently, I work with individuals navigating identity and neurotype exploration, life transitions, grief, and relationship concerns. I am skilled at supporting clients coping with anxiety, depression, oppression, and historical or intergenerational trauma. I am intentional about co-creating a safe space as a container for the rainbow of who you are and are becoming.
My Background and Approach
I use a strength-based expressive arts therapy approach, integrating other modalities based on one’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. Grounded in an attachment and systemic lens, I offer neuro and trauma-informed, culturally responsive care. I honor differences in expression and learning, and tailor my approach to resonate with my client’s individual style. I harness my creativity and sensitivity to build trust and safety with clients to invite meaningful growth and healing. I like to support depth work as much as offer psychoeducation and skill building to support with symptom relief to improve daily living.I am a good listener and hold your story with reverence. I am kind, honest, and compassionate in my delivery. In therapy sessions, I balance structure with flow, guided by your goals while responsive to what emerges in the moment.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I am an identity based therapist. I bring the intersection of my identities into my work and welcome the rainbow of who you are into our space. I am a Cisgender, Queer, Neurodivergent Latina Mom raising two Chilepino teens with my husband in SoCal. I received a Bachelors in American Studies (a combination of Queer Studies, African American Studies, Chicano Studies, Woman Studies and more) and a second Bachelors in Psychology, both from UC Davis. I have a Masters in Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Expressive Arts Therapy from the California Institute of Integral Studies in San Francisco. I am committed to cultural humility and learning and unlearning to be in right relationship with you. Whether you're untangling old patterns, recognizing how your symptoms reflect your nervous systems response to your environment, or seeking deeper alignment with your values, I am honored to hold space for your healing and commit to doing so with reverence.
