About My Clients
Sometimes our bodies will tell us something needs to shift long before we have the chance to fully process what that may be. Maybe it shows up as anxiety that won't quiet down, tension you can't quite shake, or a sense that you're stuck in patterns that no longer fit. If you're ready for change - even if you're not entirely sure what that change looks like yet - that's a powerful place to begin. Together, we can gently unravel the knots you've been carrying in a way that feels safe & empowering.
My Background and Approach
I don’t lean on just one single approach to assist you in your healing journey — we’ll work together to find what feels best for you. Our sessions will focus on reducing your stressors & untangling the patterns that feel stuck, but they’ll also feel like spending time with a close friend debriefing your night out. The support & insight I offer are strategically chosen tools I’ve refined over time working with clients navigating anxiety, trauma, self-esteem struggles, family challenges, & more. We’ll start with what’s showing up for you right now — in your thoughts, your body, relationships — & build practical strategies you can carry with you as a reminder of your strength outside of our sessions. As a therapist, I deeply value warmth, transparency, & humor in healing. Therapy doesn't have to feel heavy all the time - sometimes laughter creates the space for deeper breakthroughs. All in all, my goal is for you to leave feeling more grounded & confident, with resilience that lasts.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I grew up in a culture that didn't believe in depression or anxiety. For years, I'd mask my feelings and believe that eventually I'd come out stronger. However, I found that true resilience means showing up for yourself and breaking free from beliefs that aren't your own. I believe healing begins when we allow ourselves to name what we're carrying without feeling the weight of shame on our shoulders. Strength isn't silence - it's self awareness, it's vulnerability, & choosing to unlearn patterns that once helped you survive but no longer help you thrive. I believe therapy should be a space where all parts of you are welcome -- even the ones you were taught to hide, because growth doesn't mean abandoning where you came from; it means thoughtfully deciding what you want to carry forward & what you're ready to release -- if you'd like to take this next step with me, I'd be honored to be alongside you.
