Experiencing occasional anxiety is a normal part of life. However, when anxiety frequently have intense, excessive and persistent worry and fear about everyday situations, and starts interfering with your daily life activities, it is time to seek for professional help. I use different effective therapy techniques such as CBT, DBT, M-BCT to help you focus on identifying, understanding, and changing thinking and behavior patterns caused by anxiety.

How much you appreciate and like yourself regardless of the circumstances is what we call self esteem. People with low self-esteem tend to feel less sure of their abilities and may doubt their decision-making process as well as having issues with relationships and expressing their needs. There are steps and therapy techniques that as a therapist I can provide to help you address problems with self-esteem.

With 25 yrs of experience in the educational field as a teacher and school counselor, I find it easy to build rapport and trust with this age group. Emotional regulation, self esteem, friendships, anxiety, depression, self harm, suicidal ideation, anger, self image among others are some of the common issues I can treat using a variety of therapy techniques to help adolescents overcome them.

Coaching helps people identify their goals and the obstacles they are facing. Like therapy, coaching involves guidance and support but also places a great deal of emphasis on accountability, enabling people to do more than they might on their own.

CBT focuses on challenging and changing cognitive distortions and behaviors, improving emotional regulation, and the development of personal coping strategies that target solving current problems.

Eclectic therapy is an approach that draws on multiple theoretical orientations and techniques. It is a flexible and multifaceted approach to therapy that allows me to use the most effective methods available to address each individual client's needs.
