About My Clients

Maybe you love each other, but you're exhausted by having the same argument. I work with couples navigating infidelity and trust, sex and intimacy, communication, resentment, neurodivergence, and unequal mental or domestic loads. I also work with individuals exploring relationships, anxiety, sexuality, identity, and life transitions. My clients often want more than insight—they want to understand what's happening between them and find practical ways to create something different.

My Background and Approach

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with specialized experience working with relationships. My approach is warm, direct, collaborative, and practical. I'm interested not only in what you're fighting about, but in the patterns underneath it: how each person communicates, protects themselves, experiences intimacy, carries responsibility, and makes sense of the relationship. My work draws from Emotionally Focused Therapy, the Gottman Method, Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and feminist and postmodern approaches. I pay particular attention to the ways gender, power, neurodivergence, sexuality, and the often-invisible mental and domestic load can shape relationships. I hold an MA in Marriage and Family Therapy from Pacific Lutheran University and am a member of AASECT and IOCDF. I provide telehealth therapy to individuals and couples throughout Washington State.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I believe relationships are shaped not only by the people in them, but by the culture around them. Gender, power, identity, sexuality, family expectations, and the division of labor all influence how we relate to one another. My practice is LGBTQ+ affirming, sex-positive, and welcoming of diverse relationship structures. I value curiosity over judgment and believe there are many ways to build a healthy, meaningful relationship. Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually gardening, reading, working on some overly ambitious house or craft project, or spending time with my husband and our pack of dogs. I love good food, terrible reality television, and probably have a spreadsheet for whatever I'm currently obsessed with.
