My Background and Approach
I became a therapist because I know what it feels like to feel unseen or misunderstood. As a trauma survivor myself, I bring deep passion and empathy to my specialty: complex trauma and difficult family dynamics. The truth is, we all developed brilliant coping mechanisms that helped us to survive the past, but they often keep us stuck today. My approach is warm, direct, and non-judgmental. We work collaboratively to unlearn those old patterns and pick up new, healthier ways of coping. I frequently use powerful modalities like EMDR to process the past, providing real relief from anxiety, depression, and the cycle of feeling stuck. My goal is to meet you where you are and illuminate the blind spots that are holding you back. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
At the heart of my work is a simple, non-negotiable belief: everyone deserves and wants to be loved. We all yearn to be fully accepted, understood, and truly heard. When those fundamental needs are consistently missed, we start believing something is wrong with us. That's where the "too much, too loud, too weird" feeling comes from.
