About My Clients
I typically work with adolescents and middle-aged adults. Anxiety can be terriyfing and on the other end of that is depression. I work with people who experience anxiety, depression, post-partum depression, infancy loss, pregnancy loss, work-life balance, school adjustment, family issues, and those with military related issues. I engage clients by allowing them to show up authentically them, rather that is angry, sad, disappointed, or not sure.
My Background and Approach
My authentic approach includes over decades of living, over 2+ years of graduate education and supervision, and being in the mental health field for over 10+ years. My overall goals for my clients to know that they are accepted no matter how they feel or identify and to leave my office with an overall sense of empowerment to have firmer boundaries and advocacy that will forever change their view and world. I aim to educate and teach clients at least 3-4 new healthier techniques that they can use intrinsically and extrinsically. I love working collaboratively with my clients, as it is your life that you are in control of, I am here to assist and add in techniques and evidenced-based perspectives that you may or may not have considered before. For the past 2+ years I have focused on building my practice to help others relieve anxious and depressive issues, process traumatic experiences, and better balance parenting and self-care.
