About My Clients
Are you questioning your identity? Struggling to navigate a neurotypical world? Experiencing a significant life transition? You don't have to face it alone. Life can bring challenges that feel heavy to carry by yourself. Therapy offers a supportive space where you can talk openly, gain insight, and build tools to move forward. Together, we’ll work at your pace to help you feel more grounded, resilient, and connected.
My Background and Approach
I completed my predoctoral internship at the Buffalo Psychiatric Center and my postdoctoral fellowship at Cornell University, and currently work at Cornell as a therapist and the LGBTQ community liaison. I specialize in providing gender affirming care as well as working with the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent communities. Additionally, I have training in Perinatal Mental Health through Postpartum Support International and am a Certified Therapeutic Game Master through Geek Therapeutics. I offer experience in multiple modalities, giving me the ability to support each client's unique needs.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity to change and grow. However, we are all unique individuals and treatment should be unique. I also recognize that we are the individual experts in our lived experience and aim to honor this truth. I have lived experience as a neurodivergent (AuDHD), transman navigating parenthood and life, in general. I am a recent baseball fan (but only minor league) and a proud consumer of geek culture. I love talking about Lord of the Rings, Dungeons and Dragons, and the newest fantasy video game. You can usually find me reading a new cozy fantasy book or spending time with family. If you think that we might be a good fit, or want to learn more about how I can support you, please don't hesitate to send me a message or schedule a free consultation.
