I serve school age kids (6yrs and above), adolescents and adults with ADHD, Autism, Depression, Bipolar disorders, Anxiety disorders, PTSD, and other life's stress . lots of young people and adults suffer from ADHD, and this has affected their daily function and productivity. I have used proven screening techniques, assessment, evaluation and psychotherapeutic approaches to help clients of all ages.
My Background and Approach
As a mental health nurse practitioner /provider, my clients have many options of stimulants and non stimulants ADHD medications that have proven effective. Depression hurts, and lots of events can trigger it. Depression can also be accompanied by symptoms like anxiety, irritability, sleep disturbances, appetite change and chronic pain. Whatever symptoms my clients struggle with, there are psychoactive medications and psychotherapeutic approaches that have proven effective. I do evaluation and assessment and draw a care plan for you. Your psychiatric medications are chosen and managed carefully having safety, effectiveness and evidence-based practice in mind. My Personal Beliefs and Interests
It is true that Some of us are genetically predisposed to mental health issues, I also believe that everyone can change and grow at any time in their lives. I don't believe that there is a limit to human capacity. I think the main reason we develop mental health issues is because they are unhealthy learned behaviors that we have picked up along the way. Which means that I think you can unlearn the faulty behaviors and replace them with healthy ones.
