About My Clients
My clients are often the women others see as capable, driven, and put together. They may have successful careers, big goals, or a lot on their plates, yet still struggle with overthinking, self-doubt, anxiety, or feeling like they can never quite do enough. I help women slow down, get honest about what they need, and develop the self-trust to move through life with more confidence and less pressure.
My Background and Approach
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor who works with ambitious women navigating anxiety, burnout, self-doubt, perfectionism, and the pressure to keep doing more. I also have a particular interest in supporting Women of Color and creating a space where the cultural and personal experiences that shape your life don’t have to be left outside the therapy room. My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I don’t believe therapy should feel like a one-size-fits-all process. Together, we’ll explore the patterns that may be keeping you stuck, better understand what you need, and develop tools that support meaningful change. I also have specialized training in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), an evidence-based treatment for PTSD. Whether you’re working through a specific challenge or simply feel ready for something to change, therapy can be a space to reconnect with yourself and move forward with greater clarity and self-trust.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Representation matters to me. Not just professionally, but personally. As a Black woman with a multicultural background, I care deeply about creating more space for Women of Color in mental health. I’m passionate about racial trauma and believe clients deserve a space where the impact of race and culture can be discussed openly and taken seriously. I’m also passionate about religious trauma. As a Christian, faith is an important part of my life, while I also recognize that religious experiences can be complicated and sometimes harmful. I believe people deserve a safe, nonjudgmental space to explore how faith has shaped them, including experiences that may have caused hurt. I’m also proud to volunteer with the West Volusia Branch of the NAACP. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family, cheering at the baseball field, painting furniture, and listening to audiobooks.
