About My Clients
I work with adults navigating addiction, trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, emotional regulation, and difficult life transitions. You may feel stuck, overwhelmed, disconnected, or simply ready for meaningful change. I provide a judgment-free space to explore challenges, build practical coping skills, strengthen self-awareness, and develop healthier patterns. Whether you're seeking therapy or a substance use assessment, we'll work together to understand your needs.
My Background and Approach
I am a pre licensed mental health therapist and Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) with a Master of Science in Psychology, graduate-level training in addictions, and five years of experience in behavioral health and substance use services. My background includes individual counseling, substance use assessments, trauma-informed care, and supporting individuals through challenging life transitions. My approach is down-to-earth, collaborative, and person-centered. I believe meaningful change begins with feeling heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. I draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Motivational Interviewing, mindfulness, and experiential approaches, including Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I work alongside clients to build insight, develop practical coping skills, challenge unhelpful patterns, and create lasting change.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe everyone has the capacity for growth, healing, and meaningful change, regardless of their past or current circumstances. I don't believe people should be defined by their struggles, mistakes, or diagnoses. Life can be complicated, and sometimes we develop patterns or coping strategies that once helped us survive but no longer serve us. I believe therapy should be a place where you feel safe being honest, asking questions, and exploring difficult experiences without fear of judgment. I'm not here to tell you how to live your life or pretend to have all the answers. I'm here to listen, challenge you when needed, help you recognize your strengths, and work alongside you as you figure out what moving forward looks like. I value honesty, compassion, personal responsibility, and meeting people where they are. Progress doesn't have to be perfect; sometimes the most meaningful changes begin with simply showing up.
