About My Clients
I have worked with many individuals including teens, athletes, professionals, and young adults. I believe in a holistic approach often utilizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), culturally competent care, psychodynamic care, and motivational interviewing. Through the use of psychotherapy, we are able to modify behaviors, mindset, and implement healthy habits. This allows you as the client to become more equipped with techniques for daily encounters while finding overall balance.
My Background and Approach
Navigating your life amidst the day-to-day struggles is anything but easy. The good news is you don’t have to do it alone. Over the past 11 years, I have worked in environments such as community agencies, group homes, universities, private practices, and local school systems. During those experiences as well as from professional trainings, I developed effective methods for addressing anxiety, stress, depression, cultural and life transitions. The goal is not to eliminate the unpredictability of life, but to achieve inner peace despite the storms going on outside. We are all just one small adjustment away from the life we want. In order to achieve one's goals during my practice, individuals are challenged while being supported throughout the process. My goal for you is to be equipped with a knapsack of skills and techniques capable of overcoming current struggles and the ability to surpass life’s challenges.
