About My Clients
I work with adults and couples seeking more than coping skills or communication techniques. Many of my clients are successful professionals who feel disconnected, anxious, lonely, or stuck in recurring patterns. Whether you're looking for individual therapy or couples therapy, you're ready to understand what's beneath the surface. My clients are curious, willing to look inward, and committed to creating meaningful, lasting change.
My Background and Approach
My work is grounded in relational psychodynamic therapy, an approach that helps us understand how past experiences and unconscious patterns continue to shape the way we relate today. I also integrate Gottman Method principles when they support the work, helping couples strengthen communication while staying focused on the deeper emotional dynamics beneath the surface. I believe lasting change happens through experience, not insight alone. The therapeutic relationship becomes a place where old patterns can be recognized, understood, and transformed, allowing you to develop more authentic ways of relating in every area of your life.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that our greatest struggles—and our greatest opportunities for growth—happen in relationship. Whether we're relating to a partner, a friend, a family member, or ourselves, the quality of our relationships shapes the quality of our lives. My role isn't to tell you who to be or how to live, but to help you discover the patterns that may be keeping you from living more authentically. Outside of the therapy office, I'm a husband, father of two, and someone who values meaningful conversation, lifelong learning, and genuine connection. These experiences continue to deepen my appreciation for the complexity of relationships and the courage it takes to change.
