About My Clients
Many of the people I work with don't want to choose between their faith and real clinical help. Some are young adults wrestling with anxiety and self-doubt. Some are husbands who want to show up better in their marriage. Others are teens navigating pressure and big emotions, or adults carrying trauma, depression, or shame they've never said aloud. If you've prayed about something and still feel stuck, you're who I love to walk alongside—at your pace, without judgment.
My Background and Approach
I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania with a Master's in Counseling from Missio Theological Seminary, and I see clients across the state online through my practice, Growth Counseling. Earlier in my career I spent years as a school-based counselor in middle and high schools, which shaped how I work with teens and families. I'm certified in the Neurosequential Model of Therapeutics (NMT)—a neuroscience-based approach to stress and trauma—and I hold a Behavioral Specialist License in Pennsylvania.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My approach is integrative and tailored to you. I draw on CBT for anxious or stuck thinking, EMDR and the Flash Technique for trauma and painful memories, and emotionally focused work for the patterns that show up in relationships. For clients who want it, I integrate a bigger picture perspective as much or as little as you're comfortable with—faith and evidence-based care working together, not in competition. The goal isn't only symptom relief; it's real, lasting change, and becoming more fully who you were made to be.
