About My Clients

I work with adults and teens who feel overwhelmed or stuck in patterns of perfectionism, people pleasing, or self criticism. Many of my clients struggle with anxiety, depression, ADHD, addiction, or relationships. Some are navigating identity and cultural concerns, or carrying family dynamics that feel heavy. Others are helpers who put everyone else first. My goal is to offer a steady, supportive space where you can pause, reflect, and move toward changes that feel real and lasting.

My Background and Approach

Therapy with me is a collaborative process. I believe growth comes through safe and consistent relationships where you feel truly seen and heard. Together we slow down, notice patterns, and explore new ways of relating to yourself and others. My approach is flexible; it is shaped by your needs each session. I draw from family systems, mindfulness, and practical tools to help you make sense of what feels tangled and to find steps that feel lighter and more sustainable. Humor and creativity often show up too, because I find that even in serious work there is room for playfulness and relief. I value curiosity and compassion as guides for the work. Therapy does not have to feel clinical or detached. My role is to create a space that feels human and grounded, where we can work side by side to understand your struggles and move toward healing.

My Personal Beliefs and Interests

I have always been a social worker at heart, even back when I was working as a pharmacy technician in New York. A patient once noticed the care I took to make her feel welcome and told me I should become a social worker. I listened, and here we are. My path since then hasn’t been direct, but it has been meaningful. I’ve worked in non-profits, served in the Peace Corps in South America, taught in a preschool, hiked all over the United States, and grown to love (and teach) improv comedy. Along the way I learned Spanish and had the privilege of supporting Spanish-speaking adolescents in the foster care system. These experiences deepened my belief in connection, creativity, and presence as tools for healing. At my core, I am an artist, a feeler, and a devoted listener, committed to holding space where people feel understood, valued, and supported.
