About My Clients
I'm particularly interested in working people who have attachment wounds, who are in grief, and/or people who have addictions or compulsive behaviors. As a clinical addictions specialist, I support people who want a different relationship with drugs and alcohol, gambling, screens, video games, pornography, social media, and the internet.
My Background and Approach
I earned a Master of Social Work from UNC Chapel Hill. I'm working toward the Licensed Clinical Social Work and Licensed Clinical Addiction Specialist licenses, and currently employed at North Carolina Therapy Professionals. In my therapy approach, I focus on empathy, curiosity, honesty, presence and humor. I’ll be direct with you about what I’m seeing while not making assumptions, ultimately guiding you to rely on your gut, wisdom, and values. If you think we could be a good fit, please reach out!
