About My Clients
My clients are typically walking around with a question- “who am I? why do I find myself acting this way? what’s next for me?, etc.” Looking for a space to feel less alone, less burdened, and discovering new ways to think about themselves and the world around them, while recognizing how strong and resilient they are to have come this far.
My Background and Approach
I have my license and degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, which means I approach therapy from a systemic perspective. For whatever you may be experiencing, I want to help you see the lifelong patterns or beliefs that may be influencing your current circumstances, call out your strengths, and help you become who you want to be while healing along the way. We move at your pace and at your comfortability level, finding what makes you feel the most supported and seen within your current life circumstances.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
My personal belief is that therapy is a space to feel seen and heard for who you are, and space to bloom into the person you are becoming. I am passionate about working with the LGBTQAI+ community, particularly as we navigate varying political and emotionally heavy climates in the south of the US. I am passionate and have immense history about supporting those navigating suicidal thoughts and tendencies and how to feel seen as you process what that means to you. I have years of work with the community of people who are disabled, and feel very honored to support those navigating what a label or diagnosis may or may not mean to them.
