About My Clients
My counseling philosophy is rooted in the belief that everyone possesses the capacity for growth, and therapy serves as a conduit for this process. I tailor my approach to each client's unique needs and goals, drawing from modalities such as CBT, DBT, and Person-Centered Therapy. Specializing in areas including anxiety, depression, trauma, family dynamics, and interpersonal conflicts, I prioritize creating a nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, valued, and empowered.
My Background and Approach
With a bachelor’s degree in psychology from High Point University and a master’s in education in Mental Health Counseling from Fordham University, I bring a wealth of academic knowledge and practical experience to my practice. My professional journey includes diverse experiences working with individuals across their lifespans, from children to seniors. Before joining EVOLVE Integrative Psychotherapy, I served as a behavioral health intern at a pediatric practice affiliated with a prominent New York hospital, where I gained valuable insights into family dynamics and interpersonal relationships. This experience deepened my understanding of effective communication, problem-solving, and collaboration strategies.
