About My Clients
You’ve learned to look strong and capable on the outside, but inside you feel anxious, disconnected, or overwhelmed. Growing up in a complicated family may have taught you to be the “easy one,” never a burden. Here, you don’t have to hold it all in. We’ll make space for the parts of you that feel unseen.
My Background and Approach
My approach is integrative and deeply human. You’ll meet a steady presence who won’t turn away, someone who brings both lived experience and clinical training. I believe healing happens when hidden parts of us can come into the open—without judgment, shame, or pressure to perform. I draw from Internal Family Systems (IFS), EMDR, somatic practices, and evidence-based therapies like CBT and ACT. Each session is tailored to what works best for you, at your pace. Together, we’ll untangle the patterns keeping you stuck, reconnect your mind and body, and build new ways of relating to yourself and others that feel safe and sustainable. Clients describe me as grounded, empathic, and willing to sit with the hard stuff. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you—helping you feel steady, connected, and whole in ways you may not have experienced before.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe people aren’t defined by a diagnosis or the worst thing that’s happened to them. Symptoms like anxiety, dissociation, or compulsions are often survival strategies your system created to keep you safe. They’re not flaws—they’re signals that deserve understanding and care. I also believe we aren’t meant to carry our struggles alone. When shame tells us to hide, empathy and connection are what make healing possible. Therapy is one place where you can bring all the parts of yourself—the ones you’ve kept quiet, the ones you fear are “too much”—and find they’re met with compassion instead of judgment. At its core, my belief is simple: people can change. The brain and body are adaptable. New frameworks and possibilities can be built, even after years of pain. I see therapy as a place to rediscover your capacity for connection, belonging, and hope.
