About My Clients
My mission is to help my clients develop a renewed sense of self-trust, connection, and fulfillment in their lives and relationships. I aim to create a safe environment by empathetically attuning with my client’s experiences to effectively guide them through difficult emotions or traumatic life events. I am a strong believer that my clients are the experts of their lives and my goal is to help guide them to grow into their most healed and empowered self.
My Background and Approach
My approach to therapy is driven by the scientifically-proven idea that, thanks to neural plasticity, healthy relationships and new positive experiences increase joy and re-establish social engagement systems in the brain, which renew trust and inspire interpersonal functioning. For this reason, it is my belief that developing a positive and healthy relationship with my clients enables them to create other positive relationships in their lives and find a renewed sense of hope and healing. I have a strong background in treating trauma and am trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) Levels I & II. Additionally, I'm a Certified Child & Adolescent Anxiety Professional and have experience treating both anxiety and depression in both children and adults.
