About My Clients
I am passionate about supporting the LGBTQIA+ community, and folks with chronic illness and disabilities. I offer virtual therapy that is inclusive, sex and body positive. My practice is welcoming to adults of all ages. I work with folks navigating PTSD, relational trauma, anxiety and depression.
My Background and Approach
My work is psychodynamic, relational, attachment based, LGBTQIA+ affirming, and anti-oppressive. My style is collaborative, strengths-based, affirmative, and anti-oppressive and grounded and trauma informed. In my approach to psychotherapy, my lens is grounded in the understanding that life experiences and ways of navigating distress are dependent on one's identities, internal and external environments, and social and cultural ecosystems. I am a graduate of the Smith College School for Social work, and am currently completing my PhD in Social Work at Smith. I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years. Before entering private practice, I worked in a range of diverse environments in hospitals, counseling centers, hospices, and community mental health centers throughout New England.
