About My Clients
Whether you are moving through a transition, navigating parenthood, managing relationships, grieving, feeling anxious or sad, curious about your identity, and so much more... I welcome you here. If you are looking for a safe, warm, and accepting space to learn more about yourself and heal, then you are in the right place. At Honey. For Moms, I specialize in infertility/fertility, perinatal and maternal health care, and relationship therapy. I also specialize in working with Jewish experiences.
My Background and Approach
I am a trauma-informed and client-centered therapist, meaning we work collaboratively to follow your goals at your pace. While there are modalities I have found to be effective, I do not believe therapy is a one-size-fits-all experience. I work to honor and celebrate all family structures, gender and sexual identities, and backgrounds. I am Gottman Method level 1 certified (relationship therapy) and have a certificate in Jewish Communal Leadership (Jewish communal mental health, includes expertise in religious trauma, interfaith relationships, intergenerational trauma). I strive to ensure I hold an anti-oppressive practice, which means I also address power in the therapeutic space, and recognize that my whiteness and identity as a cis-woman impact me and how I interact with the people I work with as a therapist. I encourage feedback in this area and am always looking to find ways to make the therapeutic experience more safe, authentic, and whole.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that you have what you need within you to heal, find peace, and grow. My role is to open the door and help you feel safe and cared for so that you can do just that. As a maternal mental health professional I am unapologetically pro-abortion, believe that Black Lives Matter and Black mothers matter, and I seek to support queer and trans parents or those who wish to welcome in parenthood. There is power in interpersonal connection.
