If you’re wanting someone to sit with you, meet you where you are right now, and walk alongside you while you navigate symptoms of anxiety and depression, I would love to start this journey with you. My role as a therapist is to meet you as a person first and together we can create tools that will help reduce anxiety or behaviors that created barriers in your every day life.
My Background and Approach
For the last 6 years I have worked with children, youth, and family in various trauma systems that have helped me with how I am engaging in my practice. The tools that I will provide you with are evidence-based. I will also encourage you to become independent, helping you develop and adapt through your own interests and talents, which will become increasingly evident and beneficial to your growth and resilience. I am also continuously engaging in my own education and trainings to ensure that I am up to date on what I need to ensure that I am able to support you appropriately and efficiently.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
I believe that everyone has the power to grow and change at any point in their lives. People have the beautiful ability to expand their thought, feelings, and spirit and this can allow them to become the best version of themselves each and every day. As we create goals together, our initial foundation is "you matter here" no matter what situation that led you to where you where you are. Oh and also pineapple on pizza is unacceptable but no judgement if that's your vibe ;)
