About My Clients
You feel things deeply, but that depth can feel overwhelming, leaving you disconnected from yourself, your body, and those around you. You may carry unprocessed emotions, feeling alone in your struggles, unsure of how to slow down and listen to yourself. Your nervous system might feel hijacked, making it hard to trust your own needs and signals. In our work together, you’ll find a safe, patient space to reconnect to yourself at your own pace.
My Background and Approach
My approach to counseling is nurturing and collaborative, rooted in the belief that you already hold everything you need to heal within you. Together, we’ll create a safe space for you to slow down, listen, and reconnect with yourself. Using a trauma-informed, relationship-centered approach—including somatic therapy—we’ll explore how your body holds your experiences and gently bring awareness to its wisdom. With patience, compassion, and a blend of talk therapy and somatic practices, we’ll help you feel more present, attuned, and at home within yourself—one step at a time.
My Personal Beliefs and Interests
Justice, advocacy, and collective care matter deeply to me, and I believe in the power of community. As the world around us impacts our sense of safety and belonging, so do the experiences we carry within our bodies. Our bodies hold the imprints of our stories—our joys, our struggles, our resilience. When we slow down and listen, we can reconnect with our most authentic selves and find wisdom from within. My approach to therapy is deeply rooted in this belief. Learning to trust my body’s innate intelligence has been integral to my own healing journey. I integrate this wisdom into my work, using somatic therapy to help others rediscover their own inner knowing. I know that healing from trauma is possible; I have lived it, and I have witnessed it in others. I will meet you with patience, warmth, and unwavering belief in your ability to grow. If you’re ready to reconnect with yourself, I’d love to walk that journey with you. Shoot me a message—I’m here when you’re ready.
