Feeling anxious from time to time is normal. But when the anxiety level is severe and affects an individual's daily functioning, it certainly needs to be addressed. As a therapist, my work with individuals who are dealing with anxiety issues focuses on identifying what the triggers are that causes the anxiety and provide clients with coping skills to keep them grounded and the knowledge to know how to manage future anxiety onsets.
Depression can be debilitating and can profoundly affect a person's daily functioning. But it doesn't have to be that way. As a therapist, my work with individuals who are struggling with depression focuses on treating the root cause of the depression and provide clients with coping skills to restore their normal functioning and defense mechanisms to avoid possible relapse.
Relationships are complex and can oftentimes be complicated. As a therapist, my work with couples focuses on conflict resolution and strengthening individual identities within the relationship.
