I have worked with clients who identify as men who have experienced domestic violence, family conflict, difficulty in relationships, discrimination, and more. If you identify as a man, and are looking for a space to be heard & understood, and to process and work through issues you've faced, my door is always open.

I have worked with clients experienced grief and loss along their journey in life. I strive to provide a space where the pain, anger, frustration, hopelessness, and any other emotions you've experienced as part of your grief or loss are welcomed and to be seen.

I have significant knowledge and understanding of OCD and OCD treatment. I have experience with clients who have OCD diagnoses, and have some training in OCD treatment. If you are looking for help moving towards the life that you want to live, and obsessions and compulsions are pulling you away from that path, I am here to help. From an ACT perspective, I will help you experience uncomfortable obsessions & intrusive thoughts, and still continue moving in the direction you want your life to go.

I believe SFBT can be a good fit when the problem or issue has become overly emphasized. At times, it can be a trap to examine every aspect and area of a problem. Processing and exploration is important. And at other times, focusing on aspirations and goals and where you want to be can be a better place to start. Harnessing your own internal resources, solutions, creativity, and strengths is my goal.

My background is from a highly Rogerian influenced Masters Program. I believe that the client is the expert on their own life. I am an expert on mental health, and you are an expert on your own life. From a Person-Centered perspective, you have the ability and knowledge within you to become the self that you want to be. My role is as a guide, as a helper, not as an expert over or above you. I position myself side by side as an ally towards your goals.

I mainly practice from an ACT perspective as I have the most experience and understanding within it's framework. Working together in ACT, we will focus on how uncomfortable thoughts, experiences, and emotions can be felt and experienced instead of avoided and controlled. There is power to being open to the uncomfortable and moving towards the life you wish to live. We'll work together to identify your values and find ways you can move your life in that direction.
